Position
Your images are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to a server unless you explicitly save them to your cloud (available after sign-in).
How to use
- Add one or more images.
- Type your watermark text.
- Choose a position on the 9-point grid, or enable Repeat to tile the watermark diagonally across the whole image.
- Adjust font size, color, opacity, and angle.
- Click Watermark. A live preview shows the result on the first image; then download individually or as a ZIP.
When to use it
- Stamping a logo or name on portfolio photos before publishing.
- Protecting preview images shared with clients.
- Adding a repeating diagonal watermark to deter reuse of full-resolution exports.
- Batch-watermarking product photos with a store name.
Single position vs repeat tile
A single-position watermark sits in one of nine spots (corners, edges, or center). Repeat lays the text in an offset diagonal grid across the entire image, which is harder to crop out but more visually intrusive.
Opacity and angle
Lower opacity makes a watermark less obtrusive but easier to remove visually. A slight angle (for example -20°) on a repeated tile reads as a classic diagonal stamp.
FAQ
- Can I use an image or logo as the watermark?
- This tool applies a text watermark. For image-based overlays, use the Photo Editor's sticker and text layers.
- Does watermarking reduce image quality?
- It re-encodes the image once with your chosen output format. The watermark itself is drawn at full resolution.
- Can I watermark many images at once?
- Yes. Add a batch and the same watermark settings are applied to every file.
