JPG, PNG, WebP · up to 25 MB each · max 20 files
Your images are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to a server unless you explicitly save them to your cloud (available after sign-in).
How to use
- Drop in JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Choose the target format: JPG, PNG, or WebP.
- If you are converting to JPG, pick a background color — JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with this color.
- Click Convert. The list shows the before-and-after format and size, and the downloaded file always has the correct extension for its real type.
- Download individually or as a ZIP; signed-in users can save results to cloud storage.
When to use it
- Converting a transparent PNG to JPG for a platform that does not accept PNG.
- Turning a folder of JPGs into WebP for smaller web assets.
- Changing screenshots to PNG to keep text crisp and lossless.
- Normalizing mixed file types in a batch before uploading to a system that wants one format.
Transparency and the JPG format
JPG does not support an alpha channel. When you convert a PNG or WebP with transparent pixels to JPG, those pixels are filled with the background color you choose — white by default — so logos and cut-outs land on a solid backdrop instead of black.
The extension always matches the real MIME type
The output file extension is derived from the bytes that are actually produced, not the name you typed, so a JPG-encoded file never ships with a .png extension that would confuse browsers and CMSes.
FAQ
- Does conversion reduce quality?
- Converting to JPG or WebP re-encodes the image and can introduce lossy artifacts. Converting to PNG is lossless. Use the Image Compressor if you want finer quality control.
- Can I convert HEIC or AVIF?
- Not in this version. HEIC and AVIF support depends on the browser and is planned once capability detection is reliable.
- Is batch conversion supported?
- Yes. Add multiple files and convert them all, then download as a ZIP.
