Rotation:
Your images are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to a server unless you explicitly save them to your cloud (available after sign-in).
How to use
- Add one or more images to the drop zone.
- Pick a rotation: 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°.
- Optionally flip horizontally or vertically (or both).
- Click Rotate. A live preview shows the effect on the first image before you process the batch.
- Download individually or as a ZIP; signed-in users can save results to cloud storage.
When to use it
- Fixing phone photos that imported sideways.
- Mirroring an image for a design or print layout.
- Rotating a batch of scanned pages to the same orientation.
- Creating a flipped version of a logo or graphic.
90° steps keep quality intact
Rotating by 90°, 180°, or 270° rearranges pixels without re-sampling, so there is no quality loss from the rotation itself. The only re-encoding happens when you choose an output format.
Flip vs rotate
Flipping mirrors the image along an axis — like a reflection — while rotating turns it around its center. You can combine a flip with a rotation in a single pass.
FAQ
- Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle like 15°?
- This tool rotates in 90° steps to avoid re-sampling artifacts. For free-angle rotation, use the Photo Editor's transform options.
- Does rotating reduce quality?
- No. 90°-step rotation and flips preserve all pixels; only the chosen output format affects quality.
- Can I process multiple images?
- Yes. Add several files and rotate them all with the same settings.
